I’m a member of a dating site, you’re a member of a dating site. You happen to be a male and you want to date me, huh? That’s cute. Truth be told, it’s not that hard. However, for some reason, the majority of men in my dating site inbox just don’t get it. Based on all the things these male online daters don’t get, I’ve developed a guide in how to update your e-swagger.
1. Mass emails with the same copied n’ pasted messages: Don’t do it. It’s like hitting on a girl AND her best friend at a party. (Don’t do that either.)
2. Pictures must be recent! This is SO important. Even within a year, a lot of changes to physical appearance can occur. You want your future date to be attracted to the you, now.
3. Proper Style and Grammar: Believe it or not, the first email is basically the first impression. You don’t want to come off uneducated, do you?
4. Pay attention to profile details: When I say I don’t date anyone over 30, don’t message me if you’re 47.
5. Important: Leave the booty call messages to other sites.
