Men, pay attention! The results of the LadyData Project, a survey of 150 women on dating, reveals a handful of noteworthy gems that I’m convinced could make life for a lot of us…a lot easier. The purpose of the LadyData Project is to ultimately answer the question of, “What do women really want?” and to catalog all the collective wants of the “complicated” female brain. Sure, that sounds like an ambitious task but, I feel as if a lot of women couldn’t agree more on what it reveals.

How should I ask for a first date?
A whopping 65% prefers to be asked in person, followed by 27% preferring a good ol’ phone call. No one prefers being asked out via Facebook. To this I say, AMEN.

How many dates before I take a girl back to my place?
While most men adhere to the 3-date rule, 43% of the women surveyed would like you to consider this after you’ve hit the 3-date mark.

On cologne intensity…
An overwhelming 62% believe less is more when it comes to cologne. Gentlemen, please do not abuse cologne.
