Regardless of how long you’ve been dating the person you’re with, Valentine’s Day is no doubt, one day that everyone reflects on the feelings you share for each other. Given it’s weight, it’s often a source of stress for people when it comes to making plans. Surprisingly, Valentine’s Day plans aren’t all that complicated. Here are 5 Valentine’s Day Date ideas:
1. A Night Out
You must be wondering — how does this make Valentine’s Day special when you already go out? All you really need to do is think outside of the box. Specifically to the location you both first met or had your first date. If you haven’t been dating long, pick a place both of you have been meaning to go to. Top it off with a romantic comedy movie too. Speaking of which, we’re giving away Fandango gift certificates!
2. A Night In
Instead of a romantic candlelit dinner, try an indoor picnic. Don’t forget the picnic mat, wine and cheese!
3. Get Creative
Take an art class together and a local community center, go to an art gallery, try pottery…anything that’ll get the both of you thinking creatively together to make gifts for each other!
4. Wine Tasting or Bakery Tour
Tastings or tours usually take place in intimate settings, perfect for alone time while trying sweets. Sweets for your sweet, right? Why not see how those sweets get made!
5. Go-kart Racing
You make each other’s heart race. Why not literally race cars? Go-karting is fun and a great way to spark each other’s playful competitive side.
