Dating advice from Alexander Skarsgaard

When it comes to dating, True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard’s got one golden rule: Be spontaneous. When asked about dating during the premiere of his recent film Metropia, he had this to say: “I try not to plan it out — it [dating ] has a tendency to get a little stiff and contrived if you work on it too hard. So, I try to be spontaneous.”

Focusing on the girl and not the activity is also key in being spontaneous for Skarsgard.

“It’s not about what you do, but who you do it with – that’s most important,” says Skarsgard, who has been linked with his Straw Dogs costar Kate Bosworth. “If you are with someone who is awesome and having a good time, you can sit at a bus station and still have fun.”
