Now that we’ve established that online dating assistant is an actual profession with services that seem to be a little too pricey for our taste, the LA Times has published an article including 4 online dating tips from professional dating assistants:
1. Don’t address potential dates by their profile name — ‘Hi’ or ‘Hey’ will do.
2. If he/she doesn’t answer the first e-mail, follow up a week later. Make it short, and not too serious.
3. Don’t state that you were ‘just looking at your page’ in your message. Duh, of course you were looking at his/her page!
4. Getting responses is all about making people feel something. If you share the same interests, try to establish a connection that way.
