When we first meet a person, we’re bound to have already judged him/her within 5 seconds of eye contact.
Average dating sites, they mostly judge based on appearances as well. How cute is your profile pic? How tall do you claim to be? Well, whatever happened to the brains, not the brawn?
Welcome to Alikewise ~ Dating based on book tastes
Alikewise is a dating site that allows you to find people based on their book tastes. Anything from cooking to politics to yoga — we think we can find others who would like to talk to you.
Personally? I think this is a great idea. If reading’s your hobby and you want to find someone to connect with on an intellectual level, there’s nothing better than finding similarities in book choices. It’s more meaningful, too, if you think about it. Instead of talking about the weather (major ugh), imagine a hot debate about politics or greek myths.
Alikewise is simple to navigate and really easy to get started. Just create a Profile under the Get Started tab, and then Find People in two ways—by person or by book! So no matter what your literature tastes, you’re bound to find something you share with someone else. Unless, of course, you just have really wack book tastes.
P.S. Love Jane Austen? Hit me up (;

IA. Very good idea. Books can tell you a lot about a person… Interests, ideology, intellect… Looks? Maybe not, but I guess that’s what profile pictures are for… Hehehe.
