A new Facebook dating application, Wings, promises to be better than all the previous apps because it’s all about data. Aside from filling out their form and giving them your age, orientation and interests, Wings asks to suck in all your Facebook profile information as well as information from other sites that you may use–Foursquare, Netflix, or even Twitter (if available).
What does it do with all this data? Well it basically crunches all your online data to find your perfect match, compatibility wise. Wings was just launched last week, but it has already been running for over a month and boasts 42,000 users.
This sounds pretty cool, sure, but the problem with all new dating applications is the limited pool of fishies. The newer an application is, the fewer people there are for you to seek out, no matter how awesome the technical gadgets are.
But hey, don’t let me stop you. Try it here and let me know how it goes, alright?
