30-something years old Matt Simpson has created a Facebook ad campaign to find a girlfriend. He is looking for a woman who likes “yoga, meditation and books by spiritual authors”.

This isn’t the first time someone has used monetary means to search for a potential lover. There’s been a man who offered $5000 to the woman that marries him so I don’t think Matt has stoop to an all low level yet.

Regardless, I find it ridiculous that someone would put out money to search for a girlfriend. If he was really desperate to be in a relationship, he should go out and socialize instead of sitting behind a computer screen waiting until someone messages him. Besides, putting up a Facebook ad doesn’t guarantee he will find someone to his interest. It can most likely result in a waste of money even.
