There is no longer a need to hibernate at home because the sun is now out and having it’s time of its life! Although it is unofficial, summer can be considered the perfect ideal season for dating particularly due to its favorable and ‘steamy’ weather. With the spring shower’s passing and the winter snows gone, we can now freely venture out to feel the sun once again.
Summer is particularly the perfect month to date as it opens more doors to numerous activities where ‘love’ can sweep into the air. If you are planning a ‘romantic’ date with your significant other and need some inspiration, here are some summer date ideas that I have compiled, ranging from the most unconventional to the most traditional outings! Here we go!
Have a picnic. One of the most conventional activities of all time, often clichéd in many love movies and plays. If you are a competent cook, prepare a sensuous and simple meal to win the heart of your girl, cause everyone loves a guy that can cook! If your cooking is your weakness, no need to fret! Just rock up with some pre-made foods from your supermarket deli, going an extra mile with some utensils such as dishes, napkins etc; Just a little tip, if you want it to be really romantic? Use some ‘real’ stainless steel utensils as opposed to the cheap plastic, one off goods. Top it off with a bottle of wine/champagne and let your love bloom!
Outdoor cinemas! Correspond the date with a romantic movie screening under the stars and you will absolutely have stolen the heart of your date! If you cannot find a local open cinema, you can personally set up a great classic romance with two lounge chairs set up side by side in the reassurance of your backyard.
Amusement parks! From childhood to adulthood, amusement parks never seem to get old. This particularly, is the perfect designated location to go with your date. As you ponder around in between rides, it will allow your love to grow with plenty of time for you to get to know each other. You might even be lucky enough to steal a kiss on top of the Ferris wheel!
Drive in cinema. Despite drive-ins not being as common as it once was, we cannot deny that this is a classic summer favorite activity. Sitting in the comfort of the vehicle, it will open is world full of opportunities. You won’t need to put up with complaints of your hassle, banter and giggles and it is also a place where PDA is fairly acceptable.
Feeling an adrenaline rush? If you are more of an adventurous couple, perhaps participating in some audacious activities is your thing. Consider taking your date on a jet ski-ing trip along the outskirts of the beach. Not only will it be a memorable occasion, it will also be quite a unique and thrilling experience!
Observe in love. Head down to a local scenery or unfamiliar park. Explore the beautiful scenery and become one with the nature, with the blooming flowers and little critters, this becomes an ideal environment for a date.
Moonlight stroll. Find a quite location where there is little pollution with an exquisite background. A moonlit walk might be the most romantic thing with the cool breeze easing on the soft hairs of your body. It will give the two of you some personal time to get to know each other, creating a strong foundation of love. If you have time, you might want to add a small segment to stargaze. If you are lucky enough, you possibly may catch a shooting star!
Beach. Summer comes hand in hand with activities at the beach. Going to the beach is often a popular date destination for numerous of reasons. During the day, the primary commotion is sun baking where couples just relax and lay back. However as the day draws to an end many couples begin to prepare a beach bonfire, an activity where the bond of the duo gets accentuated.
‘Cause baby you’re a firework! With summer on its way, it means party time all weekend! During most summers, an annual festival is held where fireworks are set to blow! If you are creative enough, you might want to incorporate some of the ideas above with this passionate event. With the fireworks in the background, it is guaranteed to set off some sparks.
Going on a date doesn’t necessarily mean having it between you two. If the relationship just isn’t leaning the right way but you really want to make it work, regard calling some mates over to have a BBQ. Not only will this draw the awkwardness away, it will bring you and your date closer whilst having a blast with your friends.
You don’t necessarily have to follow the ideas outlined above because the most important thing about a dating, is having fun and learning from your mistakes. I hope the compilation of these Summer Date Ideas, have helped and inspired your ‘love-drenaline’. Have a happy and successful summer filled with love!
